Eligibility Criteria

Pre Primary

To be eligible for admission, the child must fulfill the age limit specified below:

As per the NEP 2020, a child must go through Balvatika (Foundational Stage – 3 years) before entering Grade 1. Admission age is mandatory and strictly followed.

Admission Procedure – MCC Public School

1. Admission Criteria

• Admission is primarily based on the student’s performance in the screening test
• Final admission is subject to the availability of seats.

Streams of Grade XI

2. Application Form Procurement

• Application Forms can be obtained online from the school website.
• Application Fee is non-refundable.
• Issuance of the application form does not guarantee admission.

3. Submission of Online Application

Submit the completed Online Application Form along with the following documents:

1. Original Transfer Certificate (TC) – Will not be returned
2. Community Certificate – two attested copies
3. Aadhaar Card – Photocopy
4. 2 Recent Passport Size Photograph of the student
5. Birth Certificate – Photocopy
6. Previous School Progress Report Card

Note:Incomplete forms will not be processed.

For Classes II to IX the original Transfer Certificate must be submitted by the end of April and for XI by the end of May.

4. Interaction / Screening Test

• Pre-Primary (LKG & UKG): Date of interaction will be informed via SMS or phone call. The child must be accompanied by parents.
• Classes I to IX: Assessment in English, Math and II Language (Tamil/Hindi).
• Class XI:
  
  • Science Stream: Physics, Chemistry & Math
  • Commerce Stream: English & Math

The assessment will be based on the current class syllabus of the student. Selected candidates will be called for a one-to-one interaction with the Principal, and parents must accompany the child.

5. Admission Confirmation

Admission will be confirmed only after verification of submitted documents. All details must be accurate and complete.

6.School Fee Payment

• Once the blocking amount is paid and admission is confirmed , the school fee must be paid within 3 working days
• Failure to pay within the stipulated time will result in automatic cancellation of admission.
• No further enquiry in this regard will be entertained.

7. Uniform, Textbooks & Notebooks

Details regarding the distribution of uniforms, textbooks, and notebooks will be shared via the School App.

8. Cancellation of Admission

If parents decide to cancel the admission for any reason, the fee paid will not be refunded.

9. Transfer Certificate (TC) Application

• TC application form can be downloaded from the school app.
• Submit the completed form by the last working day of January.
• Late submissions will require payment of the first term fee for the next academic year.

Note for Class XI Admission

All students admitted to Grade XI must study English as a Core Elective, along with the four subjects of their chosen group from science and commerce group.
